Jennifer Casemore joined us from Salisbury, where she had been a practicing chiropractor for more than 25 years. As well as having a passion for helping people, Jenny is also trained in animal chiropractic and has a particular interest in horses.
Jenny started her working life as a riding instructor. She says through this role she became aware of the importance of body control in keeping balance and how asymmetries can develop as a result of trauma or repetitive strain.
We asked Jenny about her approach to chiropractic care:
“l was brought up with the idea that one should try and ‘step into someone else’s shoes’. To try to see their situation from their perspective. As a chiropractor, we meet so many different people, each one with their own story. Of course, there are some familiar patterns but also individual differences. I have always tried to continue with this concept in my work so I can hopefully restore function and quality to people’s lives.”
Outside work, Jenny enjoys riding her horse of 23 years around the countryside and supporting her daughter (and her ponies), who take part in Eventing.
