Chiropractic Care Clinics have been awarded another Patient Partnership Quality Mark (PPQM) with the highest possible rating of ‘outstanding’ across our 3 clinics in Yeovil, Beaminster and Crewkerne.

This is the sixth time we have been awarded the Patient Partnership Quality Mark since The Royal College of Chiropractors launched it in 2006; each award is valid for three years.

The PPQM recognises excellence in meeting patient expectations. To gain the award, practices are required to demonstrate they meet patient expectations in a wide range of areas, including:

● Accessibility

● Booking systems and out-of-hours cover

● Cleanliness and safety

● Privacy

● Communication

● Patient education

● Record keeping

● Other forms of care offered

Patient care is at the core of everything we do, so we’re over the moon that we’ve not only received this accreditation, but to the highest possible standard!

Our Clinic Director, Dr Martin Young, was presented with the award at The Royal College of Chiropractors’ AGM by the Chair of the Royal College’s patients committee, Hew Helps.

Martin says

“I am immensely proud of all our staff’s achievement in making sure we reach the highest possible standards in all aspects of our patients’ experience in visiting our clinics and receiving treatment. Only fifteen clinics in the whole of the UK have held this award continuously since its introduction in 2007 and it is quite something to be a part of that group”.

In addition to the PPQM, the clinics have also been awarded three Clinical Management Quality Marks (CMQM) – for excellence in governance – since its launch in 2013 and are in the process of applying for their fourth.
